Clementine Chambon

Clementine Chambon conducts a multidisciplinary practice in design and fine arts. From furniture design with high-end manufacturers to the production of small series of hand-painted objects, she evolves between craftsmanship and industry, simultaneously devotes herself to plastic work, and questions with humour and kindness the domestic landscape, its production’s modes.

Graduate of the Boulle school and of ENSCI – Les Ateliers, where she was hosted in a design research residency on the theme of Light and paper in 2018, she trained at Marc Newson’s office, then co-founded the Design studio Percept before creating her own studio in 2019. She collaborates with international design manufacturers (Roche Bobois, Bonacina 1889, Nodus Rug), large industrial groups (Leroy Merlin, Décathlon), participates in the development of new technologies (Solstiss, ADM).

Her approach is embodied in durable, often colorful, expressive, joyful, sometimes impertinent products that mark her imprint. Since 2007, she has been working in schools in France and internationally. The Art Design Lab gallery represents some of her drawings and models. In 2019, a selection of her works entered the collections of the National Center for Plastic Arts (CNAP).
