The four subjects that make up this collection could be defined as a oneiric collage where memories, images, colors come together. Each carpet is a story made of details that take us into a metaphysical world where reality and dream become a new age, romantic and melancholic polychrome tale. A poetic collection, furthermore a personal reading which each time suggests a new story that is up to us to discover.

The freedom of floating in mid-air with the power of a pair of delicate tools. A cluster of softness, an armour of colours and textures, a cloak to allure and protect.
A close-up, macro view of delicate feather forms is the inspiration behind the Plume collection of rugs.
The colour schemes chosen carefully to evoke a premium and timeless quality while at the same time they abide by a contemporary design aesthetic. Delicate lines layered over block colours create vibrant or softer contrasts and the density of their repetition creates eye catching

A tribute to nature and spirituality, fascination for phyllotaxis as well as folkloric motifs particularly inspired by naive art in general as well as the exuberant and exotic vegetation of Douanier Rousseau. In addition to the floral universe created by filigree stencils, freehand painted plant ornaments can now be found. Through the dynamic mixture of two opposite techniques, the artist succeeds in creating imaginary and poetic natural landscapes. The different representations appear as surreal and dreamlike, where the line between reality and fiction is vague.

Harmony and abstraction are the foundation of this collection. The idea itself in a certain aesthetics is painterly, abstract, and modern, where there is a mixture of drawings and techniques. Beautiful lines and shapes, mostly rounded shapes, as ovals and circles create a feeling of fundamentalness, which, at the same time, is not devoid of comfort and soft lines. The carpets have intricate shapes, with a variety of elements, hand-painted, mostly using watercolors, acrylics, and markers. We love mixed techniques, in a design that is simple at first glance, there are many overflows of colors and small details that can transform the space and “collect” the entire interior together.

East and West meet in a semantic language that superimposes the geometries of Persian carpets to the floral explosions of Flemish tapestries. A tribute to the Silk Road, a mental journey in the scrapbook, or a surreal tale that sets the tales of the Brothers Grimm in the seductive atmosphere of The Thousand and One Nights. The dynamism of flowers and shapes is contained within a graphic pattern that evokes ancient looms and at the same time acts as a contemporary intermittence in the calm development of the story.

Biophilia, according to a theory of the biologist E.O. Wilson, is an innate and genetically determined affinity of human beings with the natural world. With these rugs, we imagine ourselves in a new interior of a house amongst the trees, from which we gaze upon the future green city. A forest of utopic perfection where human beings and nature coexist in symbiosis in peace and balance.

Dainelli Studio’s Birds Eye View collection for YO2 takes its inspiration from a bird’s vista from above as it flies over desert sand dunes or vast lakes. Nuanced pale grey combines with dark grey in the chromatic palette, with touches of various shades of green, yellow ochre and sandy beige.

Healthy coral reefs are among the most biologically diverse and economically valuable ecosystems on earth, providing valuable and vital ecosystem services. Unfortunately, due to human activities, they are perishing at an alarming rate and one of the main results is coral bleaching. This phenomenon occurs when water is too warm (global warming) and corals expel the symbiotic algae living in their tissues causing the coral to turn completely white before briefly acquiring a fluorescent color that signals their imminent demise…
